After a weekend that has seen two young people both aged 17 die in two separate knife attacks in Manchester and London and a week that has seen five fatal stabbings in the capital alone, Yvonne has yet again been called on to appear on TV, Radio and in news articles to discuss what can be done. Today she visited the BBC News studios and was interviewed with ex Police Superintendent Leroy Logan MBE who now fights for equality and justice and has some really important views on what can be done.

Yvonne says;

“Another day and we hear about another family losing a precious child, It is truly heart breaking that I am here again pleading for more to be done to help our young people through early intervention, a public health approach and community support programmes. We must act now to stop this horrific violence attacking the heart of the community
